I don't like getting behind. And it feels like a lot of time here is spent waiting Not that I want to leave either I have a lot of different thoughts about it. What do you think? Have you gotten bored You're accustomed to a traveling lifestyle with diverse jobs. I remember your stories

I'm not sure "bored" is the correct term. Restless, perhaps, would be better. Because you're right, there is a lot of waiting here, and sitting still has never been our best skill. But that doesn't mean you have to leave the moment you turn eighteen. You stay here until you feel you've gotten everything out of this place that you can, then you move on.
[ There is, of course, the requirements of Janus's clan which tends to be more rigid and rule-conforming than her own (not that her own disregard the rules, they're just far laxer and accepting of interpretations of the rules rather than having a black and white view) but: ]
The Allagarta need someone here until this Sylwia mess is cleared up. They shouldn't force you to move on before then. And considering how well she's apparently hidden herself, that may take much longer than any of us want. I wouldn't worry yourself too much over it, at least for the time being.
[ It is a rather drastic change and it has Jana pausing for a moment, reading the text over a couple of times. But then she feels a small, warm burst of pride in her chest because Janus is growing, right here before her eyes. She may not be playing a huge part in it or anything, but it still makes her feel proud, as if they were her younger sibling taking a step for the first time or something.
It's silly, really. ]
I have no doubt you will be, Janus. It just takes some time.
