Janus is a hunter, highly educated about the strengths and weaknesses of various supernatural beings. His people have been gathering information for 500 years. If you are interested in CR or otherwise having Janus know about your character's species, please fill out the following form:

Known Strengths: hollow bones, an adaptation for flight, exceptionally good eyesight which can see many times further and clearer than a human, excellent climbers and sprinters for short distances, enhanced agility, their screeches and screams are capable of disorienting prey and predators alike and some can even mimic others, a feel for the weather, with experience some harpies can even predict storms a week in advance
Cultural Notes: similar lifespans to humans, but are mature at 7-8 years old, generally do not form large groups (the largest of family groups are usually a maximum size of 30 individuals) and never settle in city or town like places, preferring to roost in trees and live off the land, diets range from species to species but generally consist of small animals, reptiles, fish, wild fruits, and nectar, many behaviors depend on species. Jay is based on a secretary bird who tend to live on their own, have a strictly carnivorous diet, are diurnal, are generally tall and lanky, spend a lot of time hunting small things on the ground, but can fly well and roost in trees, can take on a human form, but only for 3-4 hours before they transform back
